silkie genetics

i have 2 white beared bantam silkie girls, does anyone know what i could get if i put a blue silkie beared  bantam boy with them. i cant decided to put a blue or to buy a white boy for them. any thoughts would be brilliant.

I've got 2 white Silkie hens and a cuckoo silkie hen running with Klaus my lovely big Golden boy. 

So far I've had mostly gold offspring, with several cuckoo's and 1 BLACK one!!  I'm not into genetics, but it looks like the Gold dominates over the white, so what is more dominant in your case I wonder?  the blue??

I think we have decided to keep to a white beared boy if we can find one which is a lot harded than i thought, so i am going to salisbury on saturday they have a pair for sale so i could end up with a trio!

The vast majority of white silkies in this country are recessive white, so the white will 'disappear' on the first cross and reappear in various proportions of back crosses, sibling crosses etc.
If your blue boy comes from a good line, all his offspring will be black or blue, if not, you could get almost anything that doesn't involve white, or it's blue variation, e.g. blue partridge. Either way, you will have a lot of split gene pairs, and it would take a lot of work to get a colour that breeds true.

White to white will give white, no surprises.

OOOh, a bonus girlie. Whats the comb like? boys have quite significantly different heads, and legs and feet are much bigger in boys, though you do need some the same age to compare them to.  I think a white cockie was a good decision
