I have some cappeletti which have a spicy red pepper and tomato stuffing. I can't decide what kind of sauce I should make to go best with these, so do you have any suggestions for a good combination?

Hmm, a couple of thoughts are:

lightly garlicked natural yogurt with black pepper and fresh dill (yummy with these flavours)

cheddar/parmesan roux type sauce with mustard and nutmeg

mayonnaise with fresh lemon and black pepper (can be warmed)

oh, that's more than a couple.......

Browned butter, chopped fresh sage softened in the butter and a squeeze of lemming, sorry I mean lemon.

I'm sure you've already tried the ideas above, but if you were going to get some more I'd def make pesto and mix a big dollop with a couple of tbsp of vinaigrette - basil, chilli, red pepper and tomato - oooh, I think so!!

I'd go with sage butter...only with garlic too cos I love garlic!
