I would try a good mulch of fym first  :)

I've nothing useful to add to this thread but I'm curious. What does this post actually mean? Am I bring a bit thick (again)?

I don't have a solution either, but then, I'm foreign. :D 'fym', It could be an exclamation of sorts...

Farmyard manure JohnB47 (many of us are guilty of using abbreviations from time to time which is why we try to discourage "text-speak" on these forums, although I'm not sure how many people actually text each other about manure these days!  )
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

One of the best things about being an orang-utan is the fact that you don't lose your good looks as you get older

hello gardeners could anyone tell if its allright to dig up and replant early rasps around now or wait till leaves to drop off .thanks in adv. darren

Not much harm would come to them if you did it now, if needs be, I personally would advise to do it later in cooler weather and more dormant season.
