my lilac is loosing leaves, there turning yellow and dropping off is this a feed problem or could just be huffing as i moved it recently?

You bet it's huffing as they don't like to be moved. But lots and lots of water and taking off all flowers this year will get it back to life. Next year it will be back to business. Don't add any fertilizer this year but if you have a bit of rotted manure for some mulch that will do nicely.

If you've recently transplanted it, might be helpful to reduce overall size to lessen stress.  That's possibly why it's losing leaves.  Can't cope with being moved and maintaining all its existing growth!
