i have two types of cucs i have to pick off male flowers on one females on the other whats the difference

Female flowers have the tiny cuke attached to the end and when pollinated, that's what becomes the edible cuke.

male flowers are just that - flowers only to pollinate the female flowers.

do you mean that, you think, you have to pick off female flowers on one variety?
If you pick off female flowers from any variety - you won't get any cucumbers at all 

Which varieties are you growing?

on certain varieties the male flowers are picked off as soon as you see them, and on other types both male and female flowers are left to grow.

one variety is called super dave a hybrid the other is marketmore,on further inspection i think i must leave the flowers on

super dave was either a joke or a excellent cuc thats resistant to all known deseases,its a hybid that performed so well in trials it was dumped as there would be no need for buying anymore seeds  well i fell for it
