Ridge cucumber - can I cook it ?

I have just picked it from the greenhouse, its about 14 inches long and very fat, and has turned yellow (like a lemon).  Can I cook it like a courgette, and if so should I take the skin off first.   (I know I should have cut it sooner, but it was behind so many leaves, I couldn't see it  ) thanks, Mrs Bouquet

That one doesn't sound very nice but you could always have a lttle taste.  If you have a surplus of good cues you can cook them in things like thai curries.

Well, we tried a small piece tonight, before it got added to OH's stir-fry (on the bbq).
It was absolutely terrible, it tasted like rotten lemons - arrrrgh -  Mrs Bouquet
