im thinking of growing a few flowers down my allotment but i only want to grow the ones that i can eat,
can anyone help?

nasturtiums - I think I've spelled that wrong.  Any road, you can eat the leaves (put into salads - lovely peppery taste), flowers (put into salads - also saw on the telly you could dip in batter and deep fry), and even the seeds can be used as capers.

And best of all, they attract lots of bees and look very pretty. :D

Only pulling your leg, dorset. :wink:  I grow loads of flowers, I've just not got round to eating any.

I for one can't go near nasturtiums, I find even their smell revolting.
