Title: potatoes..flowers or no flowers

dont normally grow potatoes but thought i would have a go there are quite a few flowers is this a good thing or a bad thing

It is quite normal on many varieties, but not all produce flowers.

You can search any variety you might be growing or want to grow - I usually just do quick search - and you'll get some information and pictures.

I am pretty sure its DD that says if there was any benefit to picking them off every farmer in the land would be doing it, which they dont. I did the first year till i heard that and now i dont bother.  :)

you will be surprised just how much water they need have a feel of the soil i bet its not as wet as you think.
