Title: Crumbs to growers???

I've two 8 day old chicks who are doing really well  :).

They are on chick crumbs at the moment (which they love :D) and was wondering - at what age should they be moved on to growers pellets?

I've only ever hatched 1 other chick before which was about a year ago and I can't remember at what age I moved him on to growers.

I'll be grateful if you can advise me when I should move them on to growers, so I can buy the pellets in advance.

at about 6 weeks you can start to change them over  :)

I start mixing some growers in with the chick crumb after 4 weeks and slowly wean them off the chick crumb, by about 6 weeks the are on growers full time, and at about 12 weeks do the same with corn to wean them off growers, hope this helps.
