Hi all I have loads of strawberry plant with loads of runners growing new plants at the plot I want to dig some of the old plants up and bring them home to put in the front garden when can I lift them up and bring them home.
The new plants on the runners I am going to leave at the allotment when can I cut them from the mother plant

If the runners have rooted then you should be good to go. Tough plants are strawberries si shouldn't give too much trouble...

This time last year i just snipped 60 runners off my plants and put them in 3" pots. Everyone of them survived.
Going to be doing the same this year.

I've got a dozen well-rooted runners in 3" pots, and long separated from the mother plant.
When do I plant them out into final positions, please?

Now, while the soil's still warm. As said above, strawberries are as tough as old boots, but plant them out now and they'll get well established before winter and be strong plants next spring.
