Bright am but this afternoon has started to rain. The decking  gets slippery and I went a over t on it just now.  Serves me right for not putting on proper shoes.  Landed on my knees which are not my strong point.

Rained here too this afternoon just as finished at the plot. Fairly heavy around 5pm.
Hope your knees are ok wighty

11 degrees and misty here at present
The same here, + the odd glimpse of sun, to go with it. Overnight low in the g/house was 9C - that's better  :D
It's been lovely warm and sunny this afternoon, so tomatoes have now been planted in the greenhouse  :D

Looking at MetO forecasts it doesn't look as if there will be any really cold nights for at least the next few weeks (as far as their forecasts go) so I'd say put them in greenhouse....

Reasonable harvest today.
Not massive spears but quite enough for our supper.

I started my sunflowers indoors. I have one big south-facing window but we've had hardly any sun. I have no outdoor space at home.

They're now 8" - 12" tall and looking a bit sad after days with hardly any sunlight. Would it be better to put them in my very drafty unheated greenhouse with the broken door on the allotment to get more light? Or keep them warm indoors in the even worse light?

Putting them in the greenhouse in the morning and bringing them home in the evening is not practical due to working patterns and lack of car.

Gave rest of beds a hoe to discourage weeds.
