Do you follow all the advice on the packet Re. sowing depth, exlude light etc or are you like me just bung em in?

I have a cursory glance, but having been doing it for 40 odd years I have a pretty good idea of what to do by now. They do need treating according to the variety, rather than throwing them in.

It's not much use burying celeriac seed under an inch of compost is it?  :lol:
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

On the whole I will take in what they say and decide, after all they are the suppliers and know what the veg has to do, however when it comes to times then no, I am further ooop north than they and our climate (as warm as it is unless DD visits  :tongue2:) is a little different to thems down there!

It comes in handy reading the packet. Generally gives a clue till you have the years of experience.
