assuming I remove grub, cut out nasty bits and wash them, is it ok to eat plums that have housed these little friends? I would cook with them- jams, chutneys, etc

Like DD - its not done me any harm.  Given that you cant do a blind scientific nuetral trial with another me to be sure I suppose .....      maybe I would be sensible and sane and like Big Brother and drum'n'bass if I hadnt eaten plums with bits cut out and/or  pots with the green bits cut off and ........    :blink: :blink:

Me too - just the way I cut the bits off the radishes before washing and eating.
