Welcome to the forum, Pixieswift.   
I agree with Joyfull here, it is perfectly normal behaviour.  Just have some purple spray ready in case you see any red patches on the hens as this disguises the colour and acts as an antiseptic to aid healing.

Bill, your girls look lovely and I wish you Good Luck with them.  They do become addictive and you will probably be adding to your flock before long
