Wilkinsons Walk In mini-greenhouses
« on: June 20, 2011, 13:58 »
Hi all

Just incase anyone is interested, Wilkinsons are advertising their walk in mini greenhouses on this site at the bottom on banners.  I already have the smallest one and have just ordered the larger one also.  They are great, strong and sturdy and the smaller one is full of shelving top to bottom with no glass so I don't have to worry about them.

The prices have no been reduced also, I paid £36 for the smallest and just order the next size (which is double the smallest one) for £32.80!!

Do they have to stand on grass so you can peg them down, or could they stand on concrete?

I have one of the large ones and mine stands on the concrete with no problems all i did was to Anker it to the wall with 2 eye bolts and a few long cable ties to stop it from getting blown over in strong winds.

In Grow bags, I think you should get about 2 grow bags down each side and one across the back wall so 15 plants..

And in fact the price seems to have gone down again, making them even more tempting :)

Can anyone tell me if these mini greenhouses are as good as a full greenhouse as regards temperatures in winter weather? I'm wondering if I could use them as a greenhouse replacement for starting tender seeds in late winter/early spring.
