Thank you again for your best wishes.

She walked down the ramp this morning looking a little stronger but showed no interest in food.  We left her for an hour to see if she'd try and eat but ended up force feeding her again.  It took a second attempt to catch her and there is definitely more strength in her bite so it looks as if she's well on her way to making a complete recovery.

The spray I bought for her is straw coloured (Oksitetra) and made by Farmavet.  It's for use on farm animals but the vet assured me that it was ok to use on her.

sounds like her strength is returning and hopefully after a few more days she will get her appetite back although the wonky neck may take a long while - but like you mentioned Patrick survived  :)
Staffies are softer than you think.

Wow, have we had a break through this evening?  .

After pouring sloppy mixture into her mouth, I used the handle of a teaspoon to wipe a firmer mixture on the inside of her upper beak.  All went well and then I seemed to lose the knack.  After the second failed attempt, she took the third lot from the handle by herself.  Obviously got fed up of waiting  .

I scooped up a good handful of the mixture and she ate it all.  A bit painfull on the old fingers but who cares?  I then mixed some more up and she ate all that too .

AND she's just taken herself to bed  :).

I think even the puppy senses my excitement as she's running around like a loony  .
