So as I woke up at 2.15am, old time, and didn't get back to sleep again, instead of losing about three hours, I've only lost two, so I guess I'm in profit for once...

Did you get that..;0~

At least we're not in Lebanon... they are currently under two different times depending on their religion and which Politician they listen to. The (mostly Muslim) airline has all its schedules in local Muslim delayed-summer time but its actual departures in non-Muslim already-summer time to avoid international incidents!

Oh my goodness, now I’ve heard everything, how ridiculous!

The USA did this earlier in March.

We used to say "spring forward and fall back" to remember which way to set the clocks in the respective times of the year.  There was a time that I still ended up trying to "fall forward" or spring back!   Do those, and you might hurt yourself!  :nowink:  These days, the mobile phone tends to keep track of all that automatically.  :)

My mobile does it, but for some reason the house phone (which normally does, hasn't) and the ancient kitchen clock confused me until I remembered to twizzle the hands around  ::)

Yeah, but what did you use to do in three hours that you then had to condense into two hours last night?

It became a 'Two-mug-of-tea morning', GG, which used to be the norm but hasn't been of late, but as I was up so early, it seemed like nearly time for lunch, and as it's Sunday, tinctures aren't really a good idea at that time of day, so a 'double PG Tips times two' was in order!

I'm not sure what happened to the hour I missed out on, but spent most of it listening to Ali Miraj on LBC, as he's a fabulous presenter at that time of morning!
