Recommendations for a lawn mower wanted

Hi I am moving soon to a house with a 0.25 acre garden, and our little push along job isn't going to cut it, no pun intended  . I've been looking at petrol mowers and would love to hear any recommendations or don't buys.

Good to be here. The garden layout is nice and flat and budget is up to £250.
