Blackberry Champagne
« on: May 11, 2011, 12:13 »
So.......... a twist on the elderflower recipe........

Can this be done?

Not much of a fan of Elderflower, but i'd like to have a bash at making some fizzy stuff.

What do you think??

Any suggestions welcome!

ive made a fizzy rose type of drink using ribina all you owuld need is to not add campden tabs or stablizer and bottle it in the same way you would beer i.e one teaspoon of sugar to a liter of wine (make sure you use strong bottles coke bottles with a screw cap would be ideal) and leave it in a warm place for a week or so then move it to a cool spot to clear and mellow for a few months here is a recpie for you just skip the stage where you rack it untill clear and bottle it and add sugar instead i have never made blackberry wine so i cant vouch for its taste
