I need a sweetcorn seed for next year that grows no more than 6ft and preferably produces 2 cobs of fat sweet corn. Am I asking too much?
I have limited space in the polytunnel, and this year they reached the top of the polytunnel and bent over. It makes the pollen damp and pollenation more tricky.
Any suggestions?

When I grew Lark it never got very tall but that was outside - perhaps they would grow taller in the warmer conditions inside, whichever variety you chose?

Golden Nugget is short but only has 1 cob usually. Very sweet but I had bad pollination this year and the cobs were only half full!!!

probably could grow them on the diagonal across each other so one plant pollinates the other i always grow swift which are quick growing sweet variety and are usually pretty reliable they grow to 5 or 6 ft in the polytunnel.

I've grown Swift in greenhouse and they only get to 5' - 6', but never had two cobs off them.

Sorry Livvy! It's "SWEET Nugget F1" and the seeds were freebies from vegetableseeds. Only 3 feet high (outside) so nice and compact and VERY sweet. Very pleased...will get more.
