Might look into that further.  May need to go either as a planned visit or a last minute 'adventure' to Eastbourne at Christmas.  Have been looking at options today on the net, £78 taxi, £55 National express (but will take 8 hours as there is a three hour wait at London Victoria for connection) and £47 on the train. These are all 'premium' prices as not sure of when I will need to travel and are return fares. The railway man was the most helpful of all of them.

Thanks Lucywil - that should make half term a bit easier! I have to keep 3 boys out of the house so DD can revise for GCSEs  :blush:
