Bearts Garden blend layers food
« on: July 25, 2010, 20:56 »
Has anyone used the above food?  Wanted to know what you think about it as I can get this stuff really cheap so I'm thinking of using it for my chooks.

Thanks

We use Bearts chick crumb, growers and layers pellets and the turkey stuff, but never heard of their Garden blend.  What's in it?

It's a mix of layers, mixed corn, peas and oyster shell - but knowing my birds they would pick out all the tasty stuff and leave the layers  ::)
Staffies are softer than you think.

Not a good mix then in my opinion.  I'll stick to my layers pellets and corn given in the afternoon when they have it!
