Planted as per the instructions on the packet - thinned out and just watered now and then.
Had a really good crop and still have about 20 left in the ground and all have showed no signs of stopping growing.

Best way to cook is to place in a pyrex dish with a drizzle of veg oil tightly cover with foil and roast for 3 to 4 hours at the lowest setting on my oven. Peel. Eat.

Grew beetroot for the first time this year; the seem to be nicely swelled, and in a container bed too - I did keep up with very regular watering though - had salad leaves in with them, so as soon as they looked like they were wilting I knew it was time to give them plenty of water.   :)
