Oh - I really missed George's adventures.  :D  They do not make too many like him nowadays.

Could we start a petition? You can bet your bottom dollar the papers would feature him. I think the Guardian ran a series on people's sheds, for example.

I don't understand how a difference of opinion in allotment committee politics should stop reports on Georges activities, I must admit I thought the poor sod had died as the posts had stopped.

I wouldn't want to go into details on here, but it seems George has a dark side, and apparently I was over zealous in my position as secretary. I've since resigned!

Sorry to hear politics have resulted in you leaving but sometimes walking away is by far the best action. No point in making yourself miserable when a situation is beyond repair. It's a shame. Here's hoping you are able to continue enjoying your plot..

George has a dark side? Sounds a bit like Daft-Ada from StarWars.
I'm not a great fan of that particular sci-fi / fantasy.

My dear Mr Fallowfield,

I come to this topic alas too late no doubt - but having skimmed through your photobucket images I believe we may be related!  :D

I too love my plot, enjoy cider (perhaps a little too much), and like marmite with things that others would consider 'dubious'.

Tell me, did your family ever visit the West Country?  ;)

I think you may find the door to George's shed closed for now at least.

Sad not to know how things are progressing.
