Definitely not scab flowertot. These are raised 'healthy' looking things protruding. The potato underneath is completely healthy and they taste delicious!! I am sure that DD got it right.

Sorry to confuse, Grubbypaws. I meant Ema's post sounded like scab as her problem washed off with a scourer like the scab on my potatoes. Your problem sounds different and I'm sure DD is right about that.

Aunt Sally, I received an email from Defra saying that they wanted to send an inspector to my plot  :ohmy:
I have emailed back saying I had expert advice that it was only swollen lenticles and admitting that I had eaten the evidence! !
