Will my new rose bushes wither?
« on: June 02, 2009, 10:05 »
I've inadvertently used horse manure contaminated with a persistant herbicide to bed in some lovely new David Austin roses that I recently bought.  This manure made all my veggies curl and grow very weirdly, so far the roses look OK.  Does anyone know if roses are effected by this pesky infected manure?

Only time will tell. Due to the rose's more fibrous stalk, it might take a bit longer to penetrate the plant cells, or not. Suggest you remove all infected stuff that you can.
