Calor Gas storage on the plot?
« on: August 06, 2018, 14:45 »
Hi All,

Anyone have any idea if there are any regulations on the use and storage of gas bottles in sheds on the allotment sites? Any fire regs relating to the display of warning signs ect.
I only ask as we have had fires that have destroyed may sheds because of wood burning stoves inside the shed (I know crazy) and the fire brigade had to put them out with gas bottles inside as they worked. My next step would be to go to the fire station and ask them.

If you can carry it onto the site, someone else can carry it away!

Cheers,  Tony.

I am not specifically aware of regulations but does the tenancy say anything?
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
