Just back from a visit to one of the local beaches

Taken by my phone camera, the sun was so bright I could hardly see what I was taking and it took a number of attempts to get a coming out of the water shot that wasn't just a tail!  ::)

Makes me shiver just looking at all that cold water  :D

I too had a Poppy ..... a beautiful GSD whom I considered irreplaceable, which is why I remained dogless until the lovely Bessie appeared.  :)

SUNSHINE?????????

You need waders to get to the dustbin here! We have just been to make sure the horse hasn't been washed away, the rain is coming down in sheets, and the roads resemble rivers.

But the dogs are happy by the fire. Soggy though they are.

She's beautiful Lorna and reminds me of our Meg  she didn't like the sea the first time I took her to Troon but she soon realised how much fun it was then the problem was keeping her out of it

Thanks! :D We all went to the beach again this afternoon and it was all we could do not to howl with laughter at her being too scared to get all her paws off the ground and swim after a stick bobbing in the sea! I know Collie's aren't natural water dogs, but she likes going in the water, just will not swim. What a wuss! ::)

I have very happy memories of Barassie  including the day I was stung by a huge jellyfish because Jules was helping me in the ladies to get changed and a little old deaf lady bashed him with her umbrella because, 'Ye shouldnae bi here'
