Went down to lottie yesterday and to my horror there are caterpillars on my brassica and eggs as well. All the brassicas are in a wonderwall so not sure how they've got in.

Took off as many caterpillars as I could but what can I do?

Aside from picking them off, and maybe spraying them with a pesticide (That is if your not organic), theres not too much else you can do, ensure that there are no holes in the netting though

If any of the leafs are touching the net they don't have to get inside.

Could you have allowed any butterflies in when opening the door?

Or is the bottom of the netting level with the floor all the way round?

Although munched cabbages are not so pretty, they are still ok to shred and eat if you wash well to get rid of the crawlies.  Kale and psb can get nearly stripped but will grow again (speaking from experience!)
I have fine mesh over some of my psb and today caught 5 cabbage whites INSIDE. The cabbages are under debris netting but are holey. Might have been a bit late putting it on.....I forgot swede is a brassica and it's party time for fluttery white things in that bed!
