Pig manure
« on: May 05, 2011, 20:27 »
Hi All,

I have a new machine that takes out the dry content from liquid pig slurry.  It seems to be a really uniform, dry, slightly fibrous product.  I am going to get it tested to see exactly what nutrient analysis it contains, but a usual analysis for such a product would be:

Nitrogen - 6 or 7kg/ton
Phospate - 6 kg/t
Potash - 8 kg/t
Sulpher - 3.4 kg/t
Magnesium - 1.8 kg/t

Does anyone have any experience of using products like this in the gardening field?  I know how well it makes my crops grow but what about veg/flowers/shrubs etc, as its pretty powerful stuff! (Although not quite as powerful as Poultry manure I believe)

Any help would be appreciated thanks!

I am locking this thread as you have already posted this on another board; please only post questions once or it is confusing  :)
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
