Just purchased an Eglu Go today  :D can't wait to get it set up and go chicken shopping.

Have to say thanks to you all for all your answers to my numerous queries...I actually feel like I'm not going into it totally blind.

That is good news Pixiewish.  Have you sorted out a nice big secure run for them as well?

We are (well hubby is with me instructing!) in the middle of building a walk in run for ours and I wish we had done it before we got our ladies.  The garden looks like a chicken allotment with coops and runs all over at the moment.  We have had to have a shed moved and are trying to find space for my 4 x 6 chicken supplies shed.  If we had done it before we got them it would have been much easier.  ::)

Most likely not getting the chooks till August to give ourselves plenty of time to set up and work out how we want it all to work...thats the plan anyway, although as the go has a run with it I can imagine i'll be tempted to fill it sooner rather than later.

You will also find that the run is no where near large enough for happy hens.  ;)
