anyone see the first cgs today at 12:30  it looks like someone started an all green show-  not much colour-  I've had an all green garden for the last 5 or 6 years and people either love it or hate it-  the only thing i have with colour is red in the cushions-  plus some white flowers in pots and i love it -  lots of friends don't comment at all -they are the ones that  i'm sure dissaprove of the scheme.  lets hope for more colour in the following shows.  chris tarrant commented on his dissaproval-  he wanted more colour- looking forward to your views this week.

Mrs Smith is ng on Wednesday, I'll report back our views after that

Chris Tarrant? Everyones entitled to an opinion I suppose.

I've stopped going, too crowded aound the main show gardens.

Maybe I'll go again next year :?

Anyone going this year...take your own Pimms.

I only went once with my mum. We were very disappointed , not only couldnt we see much with the crowds but we each took loadsamoney and we werent allowed to buy any of the plants. Plants could only be bought on the last day. Useless, we would sooner go to Harrogate.
Oh for those halcyon days of England long ago

When we were young we lived in Chelsea, my Grandad used to get free tickets for the show but Mum would never go, and I was too young to go along!  My son gave me 2 tickets for a surprise 7 years ago.  We had my Mum living with us then and Mum  was very ill and giving me a lot of  stress so son thought it would be a nice surprise for me..... it sure was :D

yes was surprised by the lack of colour, but its fantastic. we didnt go this year but usually go on the saturday.reserve your plants while your walking round then pick em up when the bell rings at 4.The sight at the end of the show people carrying thier plants home is brill.I would advise anybody to go , even if your not a keen gardener you'll soon get hooked.

The Lincolnshire Show is the 18/19th June, the Waddington Air Show is 5/6th July. Theres usually about 100,000 people each day at each event.
