Elderberry and chickens
« on: October 07, 2013, 13:30 »
I know that elderberry is on the list of poisonous/toxic plants for chickens but can anyone tell me if it is the leaves off the bush or the berries or even both that they should not eat?

All the green parts are toxic , the ripe berries are eaten by many wild birds.
