[tooo many seeds]

i am starting some wine soon and so far i have a dirty container that takes a bung and airlock which i need to clean.what are the large plastic buckets with a lid on like for brewing fruit wine,never tried it without a airlock before.

there ok for the primary ferment with the lid on losely the c02 keeps the wine good but when that slows down you can get all kinds of nasty's getting in you can fit a bung and airlock into a bucket lid with some carefull cutting or drilling
i use a bucket for the first week or 2 and then syphon it into a demijohn

yeah when they say wine on the side its a bit misleading to a noob like me.thanks

id advise on getting a good book first steps by c.j.j berry is a good one and not to fret over mistakes as we all make them
