A touch of lateral thinking.
« on: May 08, 2020, 13:06 »

When you send away for a news paper "Fantastic Offer" of plantlets (usually flowers),  they come in teeny / titchy little black plastic pockets.  While loading up another batch of insulin injector pens I thought the protective container in which the needles come is very similar.

A scap bit of wood drilled about an 1/8" through to stand them up, snip the narrow end of the clear plastic bit and voilwar ::),  tiny seed glowing thingies. But then you have to be or in contact with an insulin dependant diabetic to take advantage of this "Wonderfull offer"!

Cheers,   Tony.

I may be growing OLD, but I refuse to grow UP !

Anything that says a fantastic offer must be seriously avoided. Would you like to make a meal from various left-overs that have been lurking in the back of your fridge? No, I didn't think so!
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

Good afternoon Goosegirl,  we had the best 'oriental' meal ever from items waaaay past their use by date found in the back of the cupboard.

Cheers,  Tony.

Didn't curry originate from cooking leftover meat that may have been past its use by date?

Al, you're bob on with that info. Something in the back of my mind remembers people using leftover meat that's just on the turn and mixing it with curry spices.
