Some of my friends live their lives wearing original 50's clothes and have their houses decorated and fitted out with 50's furniture etc
Staffies are softer than you think.

Joyful and Madame you might enjoy this pics as well as the article. A 96 year old Canadian woman put her house on the market and it hasn't been redecorated since the 60's. It's in pristine condition!

I have a friend with a kitchen in her cottage like that, Joyfull. Stainless steel top, I think, and red draw fronts.

They are very sought after !

so far I have collected 18 base units (including 2 units with drawers in the base and a bucket tap), 2 cutlery trays, 9 wall units, 1 broom cupboard (rare), 1 hostess trolley(very very rare - have only seen 2 for sale in the 8+ years I have been collecting English Rose and I bought 1 of those), 2 floor corner units and 1 wall corner unit plus 1 wall unit that is 1.5 times the size of the others and 4 chairs. I am still on the look out for 6 small wall units (12 inches deep), a tray unit, a larder unit and a table. They all need restoring but to buy done up would cost an arm and a leg.
I haven't decided on the Formica colour I will have on mine (I prefer the Formica to the stainless steel work tops but the 50's yellow or red are the main colours I am erring towards.
