Onions... white crawly things
« on: July 29, 2009, 13:00 »
I picked a couple of onions yesterday. Some where fine but some had loads of white crawly things all round the base. Not sure they were big enough to call maggots but perhaps they are baby ones I don't know. But they are tiny and loads of them.  Would you think these are baby Onion Fly maggots. Should I just pull all the onions up in any case ?

Ah right, thanks

So are they baddies ?  Anyone know if I should leave the onions or pull them up ?
