Good onion harvest set out to dry on racks, shallots and planting brassicas out. Top tip for brassicas to protect them.

we had a fair crop of onions pulled before they the  white rot set in drying nicely in the greenhouse brassicas well that's another story had good cauliflowers from growing overwinter in the poly tunnel then planting out in spring in a raised bed on the allotments spring cabbage no good never hearted up only leaves

and  disaster for most of our cabbage despite spraying the cabbage and netting the white butterfly finally got its way in  so its back to the drawing board to try other methods to combat these pests once and for all i have to say the best cabbage we cut where under enviromesh i think the other nets where not as fine as the enviromesh so we need to buy more enviromesh for next season me thinks and ones fingers crossed i can keep the brussels safe from those darn white nasties
