Sunflowers
« on: June 16, 2009, 18:58 »
My other halfs mother gave my dad some sunflowers that she bought on Sunday and they are the size of a DVD case. Whereas the nextdoor neighbours is about 5 ft high nearly.
Are they too late to grow now, or is there still a chance?

Not too late yet :)
Plenty of water and liquid food and they will soon shoot up.

we planted 4 seeds at the same time about 2 month ago...2 never shown 1 is about 2' high and the others about 9" high so a bit hit and miss for us. I think tomato feed is ok for anything that flowers.
