Post by: newChickenMummy on October 28, 2009, 20:48
Hi guys  ;)

Can I give my girls an orange? I have one left over that i won't use but wasn't sure if they should have citrus.

Cheers

I think it`s not meant to be good for them but when i gave my chooks the plate scrapings of the fish we had for lunch they ate all the flesh from the slices of lemon .
It was only a few slices, cooked and bass flavoured but they seemed to enjoy it. :)

Bexy it should be watered down!!!!!

Mine left one lot of water that had a strong mix of ACV in it so do not over do it.

Have tossed the odd orange out in the garden and funnily only half of them seem to like it! Likewise not all of them like banana!
I guess they are just individuals like the rest of us.....

The greedy so-and-so's all like raisins though!

So you land lord waters down the Orange.  Is this complimentary? Is it included in your rent?
