Hi guys

I have had a 11 week old chick die today when I picked it up to dispose of, I notice some little white mites crawling on my hand?  they were pure white and i couldnt see them anywhere on the dead chick.  I was wondering what they could have been and how i get rid of them and if they could be the cause for the death?

I do use louse powder and also have a shavings bath with the powder in which they regualr dust bath in?

get some frontline off your vet and treat all your chickens. If one has lice mites or fleas then they all need treating.
