Shed Gallery
« on: May 18, 2012, 10:11 »
Is there a Shed Gallery with pictures of finished sheds anywhere? If not, could we create one?

I'm trying to put together a 'design plan' (ie v scrappy drawing!) for a shed on my new plot and I'd love to see what others have done for ideas on what I could do...

The famous "George's shed" thread has perhaps enough ideas in to get you started.

well, it does work
Google 'Allotment sheds' images, it shows the good the bad and the downright ugly

or search in  Design and construction for 'build shed' or 'pallett shed' there are a good few selfbuilds in there

If you read our very simple instructions on how to post pictures I'm sure you'll be able to.  Even some of our most technophobic members manage it :)

Wow that's two serious sized padlocks on the left hand door.

That can be a mistake.  It tell 'ne'er-do-wells' that you have something worth stealing.  They'll break open the wall if they can't get in the door.

"A padlock on a shed is just to keep out honest people."

hi
Thanks - it was the pics of the finished shed i was unable to upload from my pc that i was having problems with for some reason -
Will try again when i have some more time

As for the padlocks - The whole allotment got done over just after we started up there - hence the shed is lined with pallet wood 1/2" thick  - the locks were ones i had in my box of bits
thanks

Heres a link to my pinterest page with my shed build on it, at some point I will get around to making/starting a blog and have somewhere to put this stuff. http://pinterest.com/mrchutney/my-shed-build-and-other-things-built-from-pallets-/

Will work out how to add images at some point.
