I use BBC News and Weather forecast.com. BBC give me a general overview as on the TV and the other gives me figures. Last night I had more rain than the previous 10days put together. Neither forecast that at all!.

By  the way, Weather Forecast.com has York tonight with a min. temp. of 12deg.

Pretty cold last night in central Scotland. Looked light a v slight ground frost when I left at 7. Must have got down below 5. Just as I started getting beans and courgettes too - what an appalling year. Harrumf!
