Removing tomato leaves?
« on: July 27, 2024, 08:48 »

I have never removed leaves from my tomato plants in the past but have heard that it can improve the crop and ripen fruit. Does anybody have advice on this? Good idea or bad?

I always remove the 3 lower sets of leaves, doesn't seem to have any adverse effect on cropping!

I always remove any leaves touching the ground ( to reduce water splashing on leaves) and also axillary leaves and any leaves touching other plants.
