My OH insisted I start digging them up or they will go over, but they are a main crop and thought it was too early. I dug a couple of roots up and not sure if some of the mother pots were in the harvest. Am I being to soon with them and there weren't too may either compared to my Charlottes last year. They were also a bit dry so gave them a good watering, but the leaves are going over as well.

Definitely too early imh as they’re the last ones I harvest as they seem to sit well and harvests can be huge, but I grow in the ground

We don’t dig our PFAs up until the end of August at the earliest, if not a bit later.

Thanks. I've just emptied the rest of the tub and there were quite a few more, but am going to leave the other three tubs for a few weeks. Do they also improve their flavour by leaving them until later?
