Excellent news
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Glad she is home safe and sound.

It could be that she is climbing the tree to get away from the dogs.  She would be very wary of crying out so as not to attract them back.

So pleased for you. ANHBUC is right. If she ran up the tree because she was frightened then she would not make a sound until she was sure it was safe, whether you are there or not. It's just the way cats think. :)

Glad she's home, pine trees sound like they have the same trait as conifers.

Trouble is, the more frightened they get, the higher they climb.

If like my old cat, she won't try that again, although mine fell 20ft off a drain pipe a few months later (she bounced, again).  ::)

When Miki went up the other pine tree he went almost to the top    Mili has stayed close to the house today, Miki has been out exploring, he is a bit older, just turned a year we think.
I shall sleep well tonight, hopefully!

Pamela

Added on:  If she climbs up the livingroom curtains again tonight I will put her back up the pine tree   I know last night I said I would be pleased to see her climb up the curtains..... but I was upset, I didnīt really mean it

awww so glad to hear your kitty is home safe and sound i lost my cat in October we looked everywhere, put signs up rang vets/council/rescues everything and found nothing not even a sighting. I still now expect her to come strolling in it is strange for a cat to go with no sign or anything of them. to be fair though a lot of cats in our area have gone and people are now thinking they are being stolen  cor our pets can worry us sometimes why do we put ourselves through it  ::) ::) so pleased that yours was a happy ending as not knowing where your beloved pet is is the worst feeling ever  :) :)

Really pleased she is back.  What a worry these pets are!

She was up the curtains again at lunchtime....... paying us back, we went out for the night and stayed away!
Miki is asleep on the table, Mili is seeing what mischief she can get up to

I hope your cat turns up Dawnuss.
