I BOUGHT SOME RICHMOOR MULTI COMPOST ,WHEN I OPENED IT IT WAS FULL OF TWIGGS ,BITS OF WHITE POT AND PLASTIC.SMALL SEEDS WILL NOT GERMINATE IN IT .SWEET PEA GERMINATE BUT WILL NOT PUT ROOTS DOWN.PLUG PLANTS ,ROOTS WILL NOT LEAVE THE PLUG .WHAT SHALL I DO WITH WHAT I HAVE LEFT .DIG IT IN THE GARDEN .PUT IN THE COMPOST BIN .OR PUT IN THE GREEN WASTE BIN AND SEND IT BACK TO THE TIP IT CANE FROM.

what a shame, I would write to the company sending a picture if you can (or describing it if not) they may refund your money. If not it will compost, but expensive way of making compost!

Go back to where you bought it from, with a sample / the bag. Ask for a refund as the product is clearly not 'fit for purpose'.

Take it all back of course!
It may seem to be a small problem, but you paid a few quid to get the stuff, and it's clearly not fit for purpose!
Don't worry about telling them straight, they've got to listen and give you a refund or a replacement! Go for it!
