My elderly neighbour has just returned from a short stay in hospital. The food was indescribably awful.  Fortunately there were enough of us visiting her to make sure she received edible food

How difficult is it to provide something people might find appetising?

I well remember ordering a bread pudding which looked grey and tasted even worse. Never again if I can help it.

Just occurred to me, what if hospital foods were served at the Houses of Parliament and royal banquets & palaces & hospitals that royals & ministers & Lords & Ladies. Do you think there’d be an improvement?
