Does anyone have any recipes for pak choi soup where the soup is pureed / blended at the end? I have lots of wonderful pak choi ready for eating that have a large number of flea beetle holes in their leaves. Whilst I dont mind the holes my OH wont eat them like this. I was therefore thinking of making a soup where the veg could be blended before serving thus eliminating the holes!

Instead of pureeing them I would make a tasty broth with some chicken, garlic, ginger, soy, chili etc and throw them thinly sliced into the hot broth.  That would hide the damage and retain the flavour.

Haha Yes caterpillars would definitely not go  down well with the OH. Luckily it is just flea beetle holes this year :-)

Thanks Ice. That sounds very tasty. I will give it a go and see how holey the leaves apear in the broth.
