Hey all,
I grew a bunch of chilli and sweet pepper plants this year in the greenhouse. However I never knew the species and was wonding if any of you chilli/pepper gurus could help me out :D
This is what I think so far:
1st pic: Elephants trunk?
2nd pic: Ring Of Fire?
3rd pic: ?
4th pic: Cherry Bomb?
5th pic: Jalapeņo?
6th pic: Thai Hot OR Numix Twilight?
7th pic: ?
For IDs so far, i've been looking at: http://www.chillisgalore.co.uk/pages/chilli_varieties.html
Cheers, Alex

I've grown cherry bomb and pic 4 does look very like them - they are leathal so use with care! :lol:
-
No 5 looks like my Jalapenos. :)

I'm confused now. From the webite you quote, no. 1 does indeed look like Elephants Trunk, but our (what we bought as) Cayenne were prone to that curling in at least a few fruits on every plant.
::)

do you really need IDs? :)
taste a very little piece of each.............if they are hot they are chillies :lol:
each type will have a different strength so note it.
If not they are sweet peppers and you can use without worrying :lol:

Very true!

Couple of thoughts;
No 3 could well be sweet peppers, bulls horn? I'd taste to be sure though!
No. 7 look like Padron's, but not sure
-
3 may be Tabasco 6 is Thai (I think)

No 6 looks like prairie fire or maybe apache....
